Swedish tuners JMB-Optimering are in the process of tuning Ferrari’s latest hypercars, as one of the 499 LaFerrari owners wants more power from a car that already generates 950 bhp. The Chip tuned LaFerrari should make about 1036 bhp after they finish optimizing the software.
The LaFerrari is the first mild hybrid from Ferrari, providing the highest power output of any Ferrari whilst decreasing fuel consumption by 40 percent. The LaFerrari in it’s standard tune makes about 950 bhp, which includes 161 bhp from the KERS unit, which provides short bursts of power. The car has lapped Ferrari’s very own Fiorano test track in 1 minute and 20 seconds, which is faster than any other road-legal Ferrari ever made.
