Manufacturers are battling it out to gain maximum share of the the litre-class naked roadster motorcycle market. Year 2014 saw new motorcycles like the KTM 1290 SuperDuke, the BMW S1000R, updated Kawasaki Z1000 and more! Now, British two-wheeler major Triumph Motorcycle too does not want to stay back in the race and is already planning and developing updates for its existing product line-up.

Triumph Motorcycles seems to be developing the updated range of its products for 2015. While the litre-class Bonneville was recently spotted in Spain, rumors are doing the rounds that the updated Triumph Speed Triple is also under development. But what exactly would the new Speed Triple be like?

Well, the new Triumph Speed Triple will be competed by BMW S1000R, KTM 1290 SuperDuke and the likes. So expect to see a bump in power figures from the same 1050cc power mill. The technical aids to the rider would also see features such as traction control, engine modes and most probably a keyless ignition.

The current generation Triumph Speed Triple (European Specs) is powered by a Liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line three-cylinder, 1050cc engine that puts out 135PS of power and 111Nm of peak torque.
