Triumph Motorcycles India’s ‘Ride for Freedom’ celebrates the 70th Independence Day

Triumph Motorcycles India celebrated 70 years of India’s independence along with Smile Foundation to support the cause of Girl Child Education. Hundreds of Triumph Motorcycles customers took part in this ‘Ride for Freedom’ across multiple cities in the country and took pledge towards contributing to Girl Child Education. The rides were flagged off from the Triumph dealership of the respective cities and ended at the dealerships.

Smile Foundation known for its exemplary work towards healthcare, education and livelihood of children along with undertaking women empowerment programs. Foundation, is a national level development organisation directly benefitting over 400,000 children and their families every year, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.

Speaking about the initiative Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “It was great to see the Triumph Motorcycles coming together for a noble cause. While, we celebrate the 70th year of Independence, it is our responsibility to make our country a stronger Independent nation. This Triumph Motorcycles’ ‘Ride for Freedom’ is a pledge to empower our girl children by providing them proper education.”
