We have always been fond of the Transformers flicks, less for the very sassy Megan Fox and more for the decidedly cool line up of cars!
The makers of next Transformers flick have already started teasing us with various details and trailers and we finally have come to know of the Transformers 4’s star cast (read: Cars, the real stars in our books).
From what we can make out of it, the movie has not one but two Bumblebees! The first of these is based on the 1967 Camaro SS and the second one is actually the 2014 Camaro Bumblebee Concept (the same car that we showed you on Motoroids some days back).
The rest of the line up consists of the Optimus Prime (another favorite of us), the Hound, a Freightliner, , a very tasty “race-inspired” C7 Corvette Stingray, and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. There also is a “surprise” car that we will tell you about later in this story.
Here are pics and details of all the Transformers 4 Cars
The 2014 Camaro Bumblebee Concept, which, of course, already is a talking point of the movie, has mean looking headlights, sleeker grille and overall, the car manages to look sharp, racy and yet has a retro touch to it.
The other Bumblebee, which, of course, is a Camaro, is actually a highly modified 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS.
The movie also features a new Optimus Prime that comes from the people at Western Star, a Daimler Trucks subsidiary.
The other truck is a 2014 Freightliner Argosy cab-over truck that will make its debut in Transformers 4.
Unlike what happens in the older flicks, the Hound won’t transform into a Jeep Wrangler and will instead become a medium tactical vehicle developed by real-life military supply firm Oshkosh Defense.
The Hot Rod will be played by a blood red 2013 Pagani Huayra.
The character of the Sonic RS Rally Car hasn’t yet been revealed but we are glad enough with knowing that the Chevrolet Sonic RS Rally car features in the upcoming movie.
The $2.4 million 1200hp Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse is likely to play a decepticon.
The character of the Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray isn’t yet known.
THE SURPRISE: One of the cars that is expected to steal a lot of limelight from the Camaro is the new 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe!
Man! With cars like those slated to make an appearance, we just can’t wait to catch the upcoming Transformers flick!!
What about you?
