Toyota has launched the new generation model of the Vellfire in India. The carmaker has priced the new MPV at Rs. 1.20 crores Ex-showroom.
The new Vellfire is available in 2 variants namely the Hi and VIP. However, the Vellfire is a sibling of the more luxurious Lexus LM Globally.
Design of the New Toyota Vellfire
The design of the new Vellfire is more or less similar to the outgoing model. However, the carmaker has made several changes to the exterior of the next-gen Vellfire.
Upfront, the new Vellfire gets a large 6-slat grille with thick chrome inserts, and the split-type LED headlights. Moreover, the luxury MPV gets a new bumper with LED DRLs, a wide U-shaped chrome insert connecting the headlights, and a skid plate at the bottom.
Meanwhile, the side profile of the MPV is largely similar to the outgoing model. However, the new Vellfire rides on the stylish new dual-tone alloy wheels.
At the rear, the new Vellfire gets the single glass unit emerging with blacked-out pillars. The carmaker has provided the chrome trims on the new V-shaped LED taillights. Also, it gets the Vellfire badging and a large logo of Toyota at the centre.
Interior and Features in New Toyota Vellfire
Like the exterior, the interior has a different layout than the previous model. The luxury MPV gets a clean-looking dashboard with lesser buttons than its predecessor. However, the features of the buttons are installed in the new 14-inch touchscreen display.
With this update, the new Vellfire gets a more comfortable seat design and a large console for the passengers. The console allows the users to control the features of the car and has new AC vents and pull-down sunshades.

Dimensions, Powertrain, and Pricing Details
The new Toyota Vellfire uses Toyota’s modular TNGA-K platform which is lighter than the previous model. With this update, the new Vellfire has 4,995mm of length, 1,850mm of width, and 1,905mm of height. Moreover, the luxury MPV has 3,000mm of wheelbase.
In comparison to its previous model, the new Vellfire is 60mm longer and 50mm taller. However, the width and wheelbase of the new luxury MPV are the same as the old version.
Meanwhile, the new generation Toyota Vellfire uses the new 2.5L 4-cylinder VVT-i hybrid engine. With this engine, the new Vellfire makes 198hp of power and 240nm of combined torque output. However, the transmission duties are done by the e-CVT transmission. With this update, the claimed fuel efficiency of the new Vellfire is 19.28 km/l.
