Toyota Glanza CNG Details Leak

Soon after the Toyota Glanza was launched, it was revealed that Toyota was planning to launch a CNG version of the premium hatchback. Now, details of the upcoming hatchback have been leaked. Called the Glanza e-CNG, this variant is set to launch soon as Toyota has already homologated it.

The Toyota Glanza e-CNG will be offered in the S, G, and V variants. This leaves out the base E variant. Being a CNG, it will be down on power at 76hp in the CNG mode. It is expected to offer a mileage of 25 km/kg in CNG mode and it will be around 40 kgs heavier than its petrol sibling. Other than this, it is expected to be the same as the standard Glanza. The front fascia of the Glanza sees major changes over the Baleno. The headlights are LED projector units with LED DRLs which are seen in the lower variants of the Baleno. The grille is reminiscent of other Toyotas which is a single slat chrome grille that houses the Toyota badge in the middle. One can also notice the camera neatly tucked below the badge.
