The 44th Tokyo Motor Show media days are in progress as manufacturers are showcasing their upcoming products and concepts to the press before unveiling them to the general public. Japanese manufacturer Suzuki has an interesting stand with “Suzuki Next 100” theme as the company will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2020. The exhibits represent proposals for products and technologies that give a sense of the company’s preparations for ongoing success in the next 100 years.

One of the concept vehicles unveiled at the 2015 edition of the motoring event was the Hustler Scoot, a concept model of a 50cc scooter with luggage space for diverse purposes.

The Suzuki Hustler Scoot, apart from a conventional underseat luggage bay, is also equipped with a removable and carryable luggage case that mounts between the rider’s feet, on the floorboard. There’s more room for luggage on the rear carrier and on the sides of the bodywork. Removing the luggage case provides for more space for longer luggage things such as a tennis racket or maybe a cricket bat.

The Hustler Scoot is claimed to be a rider friendly scooter and is claimed to have the same kind of fun-inspiring personality as the Hustler automobile and thus also comes painted in the same kind of pop-art colouring.

The show and its exhibits will be open to the public from 30 October to 8 November. Stay tuned for more updates from the 44th Tokyo Motor Show.
