Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Gets A Price Hike

Royal Enfield has announced yet another price hike for the Meteor 350. The Meteor 350 got a price hike back in April and then a price reduction in May due to the deletion of the Tripper Navigation pod which was caused by the shortage of chips. Now, the latest price has almost covered up the price cut which happened in May. Other updates include three new colors, and with that now Meteor 350 is available in a total of 13 paint schemes.

After the price hike, Fireball Red/Yellow/Blue/Matt Green variant comes at ₹2,05,844 which is ₹3591 higher than the previous price of ₹2,01,253. With a hike of ₹4591, The Stellar Blue/Red/Black variant now comes at ₹2,11,924. The lowest hike of  ₹2754 the Stellar Pure Black Custom has a new price tag of ₹2,11,924, Supernova Brown/Blue/Red variants were previously available at ₹2,17,469, and with an increase of ₹4,592, it now comes at ₹2,22,061, which makes it a highest priced variant.

About Royal Enfield Meteor 350

Launched in 2020, this bike is based on the brand’s new ‘J’ architecture, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has a low seat along with high-set handlebars and forward-set footpegs relating to an upright seating position and riding comfort. Other tech includes a Digi-analogue instrument cluster with 8 tell-tale lights and an analog speedometer with km/h and mph markings. The digital display readouts for a service reminder, a fuel-level bar, a clock, a gear indicator, and an eco indicator among other things.

The Meteor 350 is powered by a 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with an OHC design. Producing 20.2 hp power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine allows lower emissions and instant acceleration. Compared to the old 350cc engine, this engine offers a wider spread of 1000 rpm and has been tweaked for crisp throttle response. After the price hike, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 now comes at a starting range of ₹2,05,844. Royal Enfield is also set to launch the Hunter 350, based on the J-Series platform, in August 2022.
