Celebrating 100 years of existence, Japanese auto-maker Isuzu has introduced a limited edition of its D-Max pick-up. The new Isuzu D-Max Centurion Special Edition, which will be offered in just 100 examples in the United Kingdom, retails for a starting price of £30,999 (approximately INR 30 lakhs), with £11,000 worth of extras.

On the outside, the Centurion Special Edition boasts of additional fittings like 19-inch black and silver coloured Hurricane alloy wheels,  Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires, front/rear spoilers that don’t affect ground clearance or ride height, an exclusive FJORD Blue paint-job, stainless steel side bars and sidesteps, tinted windows, dual coloured roof bars, LED DRLs, Alpha Sports tonneau cover and remote tailgate locking.

Inside, the Centurion Special Edition gets leather upholstery on the seats, steering wheel and front center armrest, along with rear door entry guards that display the illuminated Isuzu logo. A Centurion-branded carpet mat set and a plaque, numbered 1-100 marks the brand’s centenary. Also in the offing is a new Alpine infotainment system with an 8-inch touch-screen, six speakers with an active sub-woofer, a roof-mounted 10.2-inch monitor at the rear, two wireless headphone sets and a rear-view camera.

Mechanically, the special edition pickup truck remains unchanged, and continues to be powered by the 2.5-liter twin-turbo diesel engine good for 161 HP and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission, and the D-Max Centurion Special Edition boasts a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes.
