2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR

The EICMA 2014 is still a good 5 days away, but Aprilia has decided to reveal the 2014 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR before its official debut.

The new Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 would be available in two variants i.e the RR (the one in the picture above) and a factory version. Bore size on the 2015 model has been increased to 81mm from 78mm resulting in a displacement increase of 10cc taking the total to 1110 cc. Increase in the bore and displacement has also resulted in increment in power and torque figures. Where the earlier variants cranked out 170 bhp and 111.5 nm of torque- the 2015 model produces max power of 175 bhp and peak torque of 120 nm.

The seat height has been decreased by 15mm with the handlebars now narrower than before for a comfortable riding experience. The RSV4 derived motorcycle retains the APRC electronics package (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) from the earlier model and improvements have been made to the chassis for added stability. The RR as against the factory version comes shod with Ohlins suspension and few other performance bits.

Official numbers and details of the motorcycle should be out when the curtains at the EICMA 2014 are rolled up on 6th of November 2014.
