Team ‘TORK India’ wins the first round of TTXGP!

One of the torch bearers of India’s Go-Green initiative, TORK India Racing Team, has told the motorsports fraternity that they mean serious business. And then have done that by winning the first round of the 2010 TTXGP! Motorcycle race Jim Lovell is currently on the saddle of the TORK’s homegrown electric motorcycle. Lovell propelled the e-bike to a victory at the 1.9-mile long Snettereton race track in UK as he took the chequered flag at the end of 10 laps. His total time around the race track was 14:57.31 and set the fastest lap with a 1:27.60, clocking an average speed of 78.31 mph.

TORK India’s Team Principal, Kapil Shelke told Motoroids, “I’m very pleased by the performance of the team and my rider Jim Lovell, Jim has done a great job he is just fantastic. There is more to come in next rounds . We are looking forward to the Final in Spain .This win could not have been possible without Agni Motors and Tirupati Engineers.”
