Tata Power To Set Up 25k New EV Charging Points

Tata Power – the country’s largest EV charging solutions provider announced its aim to install approx. 25,000 EV charging points across the nation in the next 5 years. Tata Power is committed to supporting the growth of EVs in India and has been actively working towards the development of EV charging infrastructure.

The company has been working to develop public EV charging stations as well as offering private charging solutions for individual and fleet customers. For this, Tata Power has partnered with various organizations to set up EV charging stations across multiple cities in India.

Tata is also working on developing fast charging stations. Furthermore, Tata Power has also launched an e-mobility division to develop and implement sustainable e-mobility solutions.

With a strong network of 21000+ private-use home chargers, 240+ electric bus charging points, and more than 2400 public and semi-public chargers across 300 cities, towns, and national highways, Tata Power has the largest network for charging infrastructure.

Tata Power has a presence on 60% of the existing highways thanks to its 450+ EZ Charging points across 350 national highways in India. The company has also partnered with prominent OEMs like Tata Motors, Jaguar, Hyundai, MG Motors India, and TVS Motors, while collaborating with companies like Apollo Tyres, HPCL, and Stays & Trails.

In a bid to encourage EV adoption in residential complexes, Tata Power has partnered with companies like the Lodha Group, Rustomjee, Kolte-Patil Developers, and Enviro, among others.

Through the Tata Power EZ Charge Mobile App, one can locate EV charging stations and also make online payments for the charging sessions. The app is suitable for EV owners, Fleet EV owners & Taxi EV owners for charging their vehicles in Public, Home & Commercial spaces as well.
