Tata Nexon has got a new look for the festive season, but there is more to this update than just a fresh colour. Tata Motors has introduced the Nexon Camo Edition in India with new paint shades, extra technology and a few Camo specific details. Prices start at Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 13.94 lakh, ex showroom Delhi.
The Camo Edition is a limited period model and is available in Creative, Creative + S, Creative + PS, Fearless + PS and Fearless + A PS trims. Customers can also choose between petrol, diesel and CNG options.
New colours for the Nexon
The biggest visual change comes from two new paint options.
- Munnar Mist gets a dark green look with grey and golden shades depending on the light
- Coorg Cloud gets a grey silver finish
- Camo badges are placed on the front fenders
- The front seat headrests get Camo themed perforation
These small details give the SUV a different look without making the design too complicated.
A bigger screen inside
The cabin gets one of the more useful updates. Tata has replaced the 10.25 inch touchscreen with a larger 12.3 inch Harman infotainment screen.
It comes with embedded navigation and is paired with a 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster. The Camo also gets an integrated dashcam connected to the 360 degree camera system.
The dashcam can record continuously, save footage after an impact and store videos with support for up to 256GB storage.

Petrol, diesel and CNG choices
There are no changes to the engine lineup. The Nexon Camo can be bought with three powertrain choices.

Safety and rivals
The Nexon Camo gets six airbags and ESP, while selected versions also offer ADAS and a 360 degree camera. The Nexon has also received a five star safety rating from both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP.
It continues to compete with the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq and Kia Syros.
The Nexon has crossed 11 lakh sales in India during its nine year journey. With the Camo Edition, Tata has added some fresh colours and useful cabin features without making the SUV a completely different product.
