Indian passenger car maker and UV major Tata Motors hasn’t ever been known for providing market leading after sales experience. The auto giant has been experiencing a downward trend in its sales charts since some time now and Tata plans to combat this by coming up with a new strategy for the sales team.
Tata has been busy identifying loop holes in its sales strategy and has been improving its training process for sales representatives.
Tata feels that a revamped dealership experience and new launches such as that of the Nano diesel will enable the manufacturer to post a growth. It may be noted that the Nano hasn’t really managed the imagination of car buying lot and isn’t doing half as good as Tata hoped it to. The diesel variant however, would offer stellar fuel economy and looks promising enough to revive the fortunes of the Nano small car.
