Tata Light Specialist Vehicle 4×4 Caught Testing

You might fancy buying this if a Hummer has always been on the top of your wish list. The Tata Light Specialist Vehicle (LSV) 4×4 has been caught undergoing pre-launch tests and is Tata’s only four wheeled High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV).

This armoured vehicle from Tata Motors looks poised to lock horns with the much publicized Mahindra Axe. To the unknown, the upcoming Tata Light Specialist Vehicle 4×4 is an armoured combat vehicle which can be used to transport combatants and artillery on scouting or combat mission.

Talking about styling, the LSV looks likes it means business and oozes of masculinity and ruggedness. The vehicles has a typical Tata front grille and windscreens that can be folded down. The LSV won’t look out of place in your typical ‘Rambo’ movie.

Tata Light Specialist Vehicle 4×4 has a max. payload capacity of 1.2 tonnes  and has a versatile platform for varied applications. The armoured vehicle has a top speed of 105 kmph and comes with an automatic transmission. The Tata Light Specialist Vehicle can operate in temperatures as low as -20C and as high as 55C. The LSV has an approach and departure angle of 45 degrees and coupled with a ground clearance of 255 mm, the latest Tata has some real off roading capabilities.
