Tata Hexa Crossover Launch to Happen This Year

Showcased in its concept avatar at the Geneva Motor Show this year, the Tata Hexa Crossover will reportedly be launching this year.  The Hexa features six seats (hence, it has been named the ‘Hexa’) in a three-row configuration. The middle row features captain seats.

Powering the Hexa will be an uprated version of the 2.2-litre DiCOR engine producing more than 150 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The Hexa Concept featured a 6 speed manual transmission, but upon its launch, we can expect Tata to equip it with an automatic transmission too.

The Hexa crossover concept seen here features swept-back lights, a large grille and heavy use of chrome. Tata will also be applying the same design language on their SUV and crossover models in the near future. On the inside, the Hexa concept uses a small steering wheel along with a touch screen infotainment system. There is also ambient lighting to give it a premium feel.
