The new Suzuki Vitara SUV was unveiled in Paris recently, and isn’t exactly walking away with beauty pageants. Hungarian artist X-Tomi concluded that a Sports variant should cure it’s lackluster visuals, so here goes.
This hypothetical Vitara Sports adds bigger, multi-spoke wheels, a lower stance and mildly reworked bumpers to start with. Elements around the front air dam have been digitally resprayed with matching body color, which in this case is a scathing shade of green. The fog lamps also get ribbed, matte black surrounds. At the back, there’s a new diffuser hosting a couple of meaty exhausts, while the element above the rear number plate bridging the tail lamps get finished in matte black.
The India bound Suzuki Vitara will be available with two 1.6-liter engines, a 118hp (120PS) and 156Nm petrol and a 118hp (120PS) and 320Nm diesel. The petrol version will be mated to a five-speed manual or an optional 6-speed automatic, while the diesel will be offered exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. However, if this Sports edition sees the light of the day, it’ll demand some more juice!
