Suzuki V-Strom 250 rendered as a blend of the V-Strom 650XT and the Inazuma

Suzuki GSR250X - V-Strome 250 - Render

It seems like the folks at Young Magazine have their creativity on the loose, as one after the other, renders are flowing out from this Japanese publication. The latest machine to have emerged out of their creative minds onto a screen with Photoshop is the quarter-litre V-Strome adventure tourer, termed as the Suzuki GSR250X. As seen in the image, the Suzuki V-Strom 250 render draws inspiration from the Japanese two-wheeler maker’s current products – the V-Strome 650XT and the GSR250 a.k.a the Inazuma. The design — especially with bits such as the headlight, alloy wheels and exhaust — tilts more towards the Inazuma.

Besides the design, this upcoming motorcycle will most likely draw power from the same single over cam, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled parallel twin 248cc engine that propelled the Inazuma. The 248cc refined motor on the Inazuma delivered 24PS of power and 22Nm of torque but we expect to see slightly tweaked performance numbers to match the characteristics of the Suzuki V-Strom 250.

The Suzuki V-Strome 250 has been rumoured for some time. There haven’t been any official announcement but Suzuki may reveal some details at the upcoming 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. So stay tuned for latest updates about the Suzuki GSR250X or the V-Strom 250.

In the meantime, do let us know if a mini-me version of the V-Strom XT with a hint of Inazuma cuts the mustard for you. Share your thoughts using our social tools provided below

  1. Wish they would consider an Intruder 250; we need lower capacity cruisers….Yammi Dragstar 250; intruder 250; Honda Rebel 250….bring em on.

  2. Unnecessary…not really. Do check out Young Magazine's past renderings and most of their speculations have hit bulls eye . The CBR400/500, the Yamaha R25/R3 and the recent 250RR are just a few examples.
