Suzuki Malaysia recently took the veils off the new Suzuki Swift RR Edition. The latest Swift Limited Edition would go on sale in mid-November and production of the new variant will be limited to 200 examples only.
The new Suzuki Swift RR Limited Edition is based on the base GL variant and comes with a bespoke body kit that has a cost of RM 5,300. The body kit consists of a new set of bumpers, side skirts and a rear roof spoiler. The car also gets a couple of black stripes and racing decals. The car rides on bespoke 15 inch black alloy wheels and comes kitted out with a Blaupunkt double-din touchscreen audio system with integrated GPS and a reverse camera.
It is being said that the car could go on sale for a price of RM 70,000.
Mechanically, the car remains unchanged and is powered by the K14, 1.4-liter VVT petrol engine that has a max power of 95PS and peak torque of 130Nm. This is the same engine that powers the Ertiga petrol variants in India. For the Suzuki Swift RR Limited Edition, which comes in GL and GLX variants, the motor comes mated to a four speed auto ‘box.
