Suzuki Introduces E20 Compliant Range

One of the prominent 2-wheeler manufacturers, Suzuki has launched the OBD2-A and E20-compliant premium range of scooters. One of the prime objectives of this company is to support sustainable transportation in the future. With the launch of its popular models like Access 125, Avenis and Burgman Street range, the company has justified its commitment towards future mobility solutions.

About the Tweaks in the scooter range

Today, Suzuki has launched a new range of scooters that are capable of running on the ‘E20’ blended fuel having 80% of petrol and 20% of ethanol. Blended fuel compliance will contribute towards the conservation of resources and reduction of pollution. In addition to this, the new range of scooters from the house of Suzuki two-wheelers are OBD2-A norms compliant. This sophisticated technology detects system failures and ensures the rider’s safety by illuminating the console lights in case of any faults in the vehicle system. The introduction of this technology depicts Suzuki’s commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable, and safe vehicles to its customers. This move is expected to make the rider’s experience safer and more comfortable with minimized maintenance expenses.

Details of the newly launched range

The 125cc premium scooter segment in India has seen a surge in demand in recent years. Suzuki, offers a range of premium 125 cc scooters that cater to the needs of customers looking for style, performance, and features.

Suzuki Access 125 is now available with multiple color options like silver, white, blue and black. The Standard Edition is available in both drum and disc brake variants, with ex-showroom prices starting at 79,400 and ₹83,100, respectively. The Special Edition, priced at ₹84,800, offers unique color options such as Solid Ice Green/Pearl Mirage White and Metallic Matte Black. The Ride Connect Edition, available in six colors, including Matte Blue and Metallic Royal Bronze, is priced at ₹89,500 ex-showroom.

Suzuki Avenis is now priced at ₹92,000 ex-showroom. Customers can choose from variety of dual-tone colors such as White with Metallic Grey, Metallic Grey with Metallic Lush Green, Orange with Black and metallic Black with glass sparkle black finish. The Avenis Race Edition is available in a new Metallic Silver with Metallic Blue color, is priced at ₹92,300 ex-showroom.

The Suzuki Burgman Street, priced at 93,000 ex-showroom, comes with plenty of color options such as Pearl Green, Metallic Black No. 2, Metallic Matte Red, Pearl Grey, and Pearl White. The Burgman Street Ride Connect Edition is priced at ₹97,000 ex-showroom, available in four different color options, comprising of the new Pearl Green paintjob. With such a wide range of options and prices, Suzuki is sure to have a scooter that suits the needs of every rider.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Devashish Handa, Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and After Sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd. said, “Suzuki’s powerful 125cc engine which delivers high performance and has been ruling riders’ hearts is now E20 (petrol with 20 per cent ethanol) and OBD2-A compliant. We plan to gradually make our entire product portfolio compatible to E20 fuel. This is a part of our commitment to reduce carbon footprint for cleaner and greener tomorrow.”
