Suzuki had recently unveiled the Baleno in the Italian market, deliveries for which are due in the month of March. The Japanese car maker has now launched special edition of the Baleno called the “Web S Edition” which can be booked through the official website. The Web S Edition will be priced at 15,900 Euros (Rs 11.6 Lakhs), ex-showroom and will be available starting the first week of March 2016.
The Suzuki Baleno Web S Edition will be powered by an all new 1.0 litre direct injected, petrol turbo powered engine with a maximum power output of 112 hp and a maximum torque of 170 Nm unlike the standard versions of the Baleno that feature a 1.2 litre petrol engine and a 1.3 litre diesel engine. The exterior features a new color scheme known as Metallic Blue Borealis, 16 inch alloy wheels, HID headlights, LED tail lights, privacy glass, heat integrated ORVM, a privacy glass and a red strip on the extended lower lip.
The interiors include floor mats with the “Baleno” logo in red, a 4.2 inch My Drive that stores and graphically displays a person’s driving style, leather wrapped steering wheel, red stitching on the gear rod and automatic climate control. Additional safety features include Radar Brake Support (RBS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) apart from 6 airbags, ABS and ESP.
Other features remain same as the standard Baleno which include 16 inch alloy wheels on the top variant and 15 inch alloys on lower variants, LED DRL, fog lights, follow me home headlamps, chrome door handles, ORVM with turn indicators and body coloured rear spoiler on the outside and a 7 inch touchscreen display, an audio system with browser and smartphone integration and a center arm rest on the inside. The overall dimensions of the car are retained as well.
