Japanese car maker Subaru has revealed its plans for the fast approaching Geneva Motor Show 2014, which will be held early next month. As we reported earlier today, Subaru at Geneva Motor Show 2014 will unveil the new Viviz 2 Concept at the upcoming motor show. CLICK HERE for our earlier report on the Viviz conept. Subaru will also put on display the new Subaru WRX STI and the new racing car developed for 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race in 2014.
Subaru VIZIV 2 Concept
As we have been saying, the new Subaru VIVIZ 2 concept is the successor to the VIVIZ concept of the last year’s Geneva Motor Show and VIZIV EVOLUTION CONCEPT revealed at Tokyo Motor Show 2013. The VIVIZ previews a future-generation crossover.
All-new Subaru WRX STI
The all-new WRX STI is the flagship model in the new WRX range and powering the new Subaru WRX STI is a 2.5 litre turbo-charged Subaru Boxer four-pot engine that has max power of 305hp and peak torque of 290lb/ft. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox that has shorter throws than non-STI model and also offers slicker and sportier shift feel.
New WRX STI racing car for 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race
Subaru will participate in the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race for its seventh consecutive year. For this, FHI and Subaru Tecnica International Inc. have collaborated to create a competitive racing car based on the all-new WRX STI.
