There is no denying that Polo has been responsible for giving Volkswagen a strong foothold in Indian car market. However, the car has been in the Indian car market since some time now and VW surely needs to inject some freshness into the aging car to keep the ball rolling. It seems that Volkswagen India is thinking just the same as spy pics of a facelifted Polo have emerged on the web world.
The mid-life facelift should be here before the end of diwali season and we also expect the refreshed car to come with some price cuts. The revised car features black inserts on the headlamps, smoked tail lights and new design alloy wheels. On the inside, the updated Polo should get a new audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and steering mounted controls for top of the line variants.
Other than these changes, expect the engines to be tuned for more fuel economy along with an auto box option thrown in for the petrol variant.
