SPIED: TVS Jupiter MillionR Edition snapped at dealership, gets new paint and disc brake

TVS Motor Company will soon introduce a limited edition model, tagged as MillionR Edition. While we are yet to hear any official information about the upcoming limited edition Jupiter, folks at Bharathautos have snapped the scooter at TVS Motors showroom in Mangalore. Going by the nomenclature, this limited edition model is expected to celebrate a million sales of the scooter. The TVS Jupiter had crossed the 500,000 sales mark in May 2015.

Visually, the scooter will don a new colour, beige footboard, dual tone Dura Cool seat, chrome highlights on the side panel and on rear view mirror and MillionR Edition badge on the front apron and side panels. Besides the visual upgrades, the upcoming Jupiter MillionR Edition will also get an optional front disc brake which should improve the anchoring duties. The disc brake will increase the bill by Rs 2,000.

There are no changes to the engine and the TVS continues to use the same 110cc engine, delivering 8 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and 8 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a CVT transmission and is claimed to deliver a fuel economy of 62 kmpl.

As aforementioned, the scooter was spotted at a local dealership and thus we expect to hear an official launch date and prices for this limited edition Jupiter in the coming days. Check out the scooter in the walk around video below.
