SPIED: Mercedes GLK facelift

All thanks to the new and more stylish competition, Mercedes GLK has started to look dated. Hence, it comes as no surprise that the German car maker is working on injecting some botox to the popular crossover. In a move to make the car look fresh and appealing, Mercedes plans to come out with a facelifted model that will sport a new bumpers, re-styled headlights and a larger grille.

Sources say that the inside of the car will come with a new steering wheel and some other minor changes. Beneath the hood should be the 2.1-liter four-cylinder diesel that pumps out out 204 PS (150 kW / 201 hp) of power and churn out 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. This engine can currently be found doing duty in the Mercedes GLK 250 CDI BlueEfficiency.

The refreshed Mercedes GLK could make its world premiere in the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
