The upcoming Fiat Punto facelift has been spied inside out by us in Pune. The car will be launched in India soon, and these new Fiat Punto facelift images give us a clear view of the car’s interiors and exteriors. We have lost the count the Fiat Punto facelift images have hit the cyberspace, with this new set adding to it.
As aforementioned, the facelift will be a cosmetic upgrade only (akin to the Linea facelift). Rumors floated about Fiat bringing the 1.6 liter MJD with the new Linea, but, sadly, that didn’t happen. The Punto facelift will come with the same engines having the same specs:
- 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine producing 75 bhp and 197 Nm
- 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine producing 90 bhp and 209 Nm
- 1.2 liter petrol engine producing 68 bhp and 96 Nm
- 1.4 liter petrol engine producing 90 bhp and 115 Nm
All the above engines will come mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.
As already known, the Fiat Punto facelift India launch will happen somewhere around the mid of this year, and will merely be a cosmetic upgrade. As can be seen here in the pics, the car features a new dashboard design (similar to the new Linea), with a dual tone black-beige combination. The car also gets a new center console and a redesigned instrument cluster.
On the exterior, the Fiat Punto facelift will boast of new headlamps and a redesigned front bumper. The car also gets a new front grille and fog lamps. On the rear section, the Punto facelift will boast of a new set of tail lamps and a redesigned bumper.
