Only a few days back, we talked in detail about Ferrari readying a replacement for one of its cars. Now, the car in the pic here is the successor to the Ferrari599, codenamed F152. The pic of this camouflaged test mule is doing rounds on the wen. As we earlier reported, the upcoming car sports a mighty V12 beneath that hidden body work and the power mill is housed in the mid-front area of the sports car. The V12 has a displacement of 6.3 liters and pumps out mind boggling 710 hp of power. Unlike the Lamborghini Aventador and McLaren MP4-12C, this Ferrari will make use of aluminum instead of carbon fiber for its body structure. The reason for this departure from going the CF way is that Ferrari feels that the high construction costs are not justified by the minimal performance gains.
Ferrari 599’s successor will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
