Hero MotoCorp has launched its two new motorcycles – the new ‘Hero Xtreme Sports’ and new ‘Hero Passion PRO’ – in the city of Hyderabad. The two motorcycles were unveiled by southern superstar and Hero MotoCorp brand ambassador Allu Arjun. The ‘Xtreme Sports’ is priced at Rs. 71,729/- (Ex-showroom Hyderabad) and the ‘Passion PRO’ is priced at Rs. 49,450/- (Ex-showroom Hyderabad).
The New Hero Xtreme Sports, tagged as ‘Faster than Ever’, is powered by a 149.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder engine, producing a maximum power output of 15.6 BHP @8500 rpm and maximum torque of 13.5 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The new ‘Xtreme Sports’ receives a host of new external features, such as the front cowl with aerodynamic visor, new wolf-eye headlamp with aggressive eyebrow lights and winkers, split step-up seat new exhaust and LED tail lamp.
Other features include tubeless tires, a wider rear tyre for better road grip, new Digi-analog console with side stand indicator, 240 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes. The bike is available in five body colors – Panther Black, Fiery Red, Mercuric Silver and the new Black-Red and Pyro Orange colors.
The new Hero Passion PRO, on the other hand is the most popular motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp’s stable with annual sales figures of over a million units. Hero Passion PRO is powered by a 97.2 CC APDV engine that delivers 8.25 BHP @ 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 8.05 Nm @ 5000 rpm.
The new bike features a flush type fuel tank cap, fuel tank has capacity of 13.5 liters, 240 mm front disc brakes, clear indicators and new tail light. The new Passion Pro comes with power start, front side cowl and digital-analog combo meter, improving the visibility of the instrument cluster. The bike is available in eight exciting body colors – Black Sports Red, Black Heavy Grey, Black Frost Blue, Sports Red, Force Silver, Bronze yellow and two completely new colors – Matte Brown and Majestic White.
