The South America arm of Hyundai has released a couple of teasers of the Brazilian-spec Hyundai Creta, which will be revealed at the Sao Paulo Auto Show on November 10. As reported before and substantiated by previous teasers, the Brazilian-spec Creta will have certain stylistic differences from the India-spec model. Up front, the Creta for Brazil will feature Hyundai’s new, trapezoidal. ‘Cascading grille’ that’ll be ‘connected’ to the headlamps. Apart from the different grille, the Brazilian-spec Hyundai Creta’s fascia is also likely to feature new fog lamps and a thoroughly revised front bumper.

At the rear, the Brazilian-spec Creta will sport slightly tweaked tail lamps, with a full-length, slim chrome strip bridging them. A differently designed rear bumper, replete with new reflectors and a contrast coloured trim insert round off the changes made to the Creta for Brazil. In Brazil, the Hyundai Creta will draw power from a 1.6-litre, flex-fuel (bio-ethanol and petrol) engine that is good for 128 hp and 162 Nm of torque, while being mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Hyundai Creta will be locally manufactured in South America at the Piracicaba plant in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and go on sale there in early 2017.
