Škoda Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of the popular VW Group owned Czech auto maker, today introduced the Rapid Leisure into the Indian car market. The Leisure is a special edition of the Rapid- the entry level sedan in Skoda India’s line up.
The new Rapid Leisure is priced at Rs. 7.79 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom Delhi) and comes with a host of new features which make the car even more feature packed.
On the outside, the car gets Special Edition badge to distinguish it from other variants.
The additional features on the inside include-
- A portable navigation system with rear view camera
- Rear parking sensors
- 15 inch alloy wheels
- Door sill covers
- Leatherette seat covers
This special edition will be available across the country for a limited period only.
The addition of these features make the Skoda Rapid a more lucrative proposition for the car buying lot.
The Rapid Leisure edition will be available in both 1.6 petrol (AT & MT) and diesel (MT).
The petrol variant has maximum power of 77kW (105PS)@5250rpm with maximum torque of 220NM @153-3800rpm. The diesel variant has maximum power of 77kW (105PS) @4400rpm with maximum torque of 250Nm@1500-2500rpm.
