Highlights of the Skoda Kushaq Onyx
The Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition is a special edition variant of the compact SUV that is based on the base variant, known as Active. This variant is positioned between the base and the mid-variant. The Onyx edition comes with several cosmetic highlights and features.
Among these features are a new faux diffuser element and a chrome surround on the grille. The Onyx edition also gets the Onyx emblem and polygon graphics on the side. The car sits on 16-inch wheels with restyled covers and features roof rails. While subtle graphics near the C-pillar add an extra touch of style.
Features of Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition
Although the Onyx Edition looks similar to its regular variant, Skoda has added several new features to this variant. On the outside, the Skoda Kushaq Onyx gets LED Projector Headlamps with DRLs, fog lamps with the cornering feature, new wheel covers, a rear wiper, and a defogger.
Inside, the Kushaq Onyx Edition features a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other comfort creature features include leather upholstery, Onyx scuff plates, steering-mounted audio controls, Auto AC, and rear AC vents, etc. This SUV has scored an impressive 5-star safety rating at Global NCAP. With the addition of the new variant, Skoda Kushaq is ready to cater to a wider audience.
Powertrain options
The Onyx Edition of Skoda Kushaq will be only powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder TSi turbocharged Petrol engine. This engine makes 115ps and 178nm of output. The Onyx Edition will be only available with a 6-speed manual transmission option. However, the other variants will have both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
Additionally, the other variants of Skoda Kushaq will be available with a 1.5L 4-cylinder TSi turbocharged petrol engine that generates an impressive 150ps of power and 250nm of torque. This engine is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG transmission.

The Skoda Kushaq Onyx is retailed at an Ex-Showroom price of ₹12.39 Lakhs.
