Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition Launched At ₹15.59 Lakh

To celebrate its successful run in the Indian market and expand the options available to potential customers, Skoda has launched the anniversary edition of Kushaq at ₹15.59 Lakh. This anniversary edition is similar to the Taigun anniversary edition wherein it gets minor cosmetic add-ons. The Kushaq anniversary edition is around ₹30000 more expensive than the standard model and is based on the top-end Style trim. Let’s take a look at the prices and see what’s new:

The anniversary variant gets ‘Anniversary Edition’ badging and stickering on the C-pillar, chrome garnish on the door sills, and door-end protectors. The interior gets ‘Anniversary Edition’ badging on the steering wheel, new contrast stitching, and a 10-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. This touchscreen was previously replaced by an 8-inch screen due to the chip shortage.

The safety kit will be the same as the standard model including front, side, and curtain airbags, hill hold control, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, multi-collision brake, traction control system (TCS), rollover protection, brake disc wiping, motor slip regulation, and electronic differential locking system. The Kushaq recently scored 5 stars in the Global NCAP crash test.

The Skoda Kushaq anniversary edition is offered with both the 1-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engines and with both manual and automatic transmission options. The 1-liter engine generates 115 PS of max power at 5,000-5,500 rpm and 178 Nm of peak torque at 1,750-4,500 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The 1.5-liter makes 150 PS and 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG. Other than this, it remains the same as the standard Kushaq. The Kushaq was recently updated with new features. The new updated features include a new headliner in the cabin and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System as standard across the range. Now, all variants that are powered by the 1.0 TSI will get the Start-Stop Recuperation system as standard.
