Shahrukh Khan isn’t the official brand ambassador for KTM bikes in India and when asked, he simply said that his love for KTM bikes made him address the recently held ceremony. Rajiv Bajaj was quick to add that the SRK’s unofficial endorsement will be restricted only to KTM bikes and that the actor won’t be seen promoting the Pulsar line up anytime soon. Rajiv Bajaj feels that KTM bikes go well with SRK’s personality and SRK might not look his best on promoting the the Pulsar range of bikes.

Apparently, Shahrukh Khan and Rajiv Bajaj seem to enjoy a good rapport with each other and the latter is said to have gifted SRK a customized KTM 200 Duke, complete with a z-ring orange chain and many power upgrades. It has emerged that Rajiv plans to gift SRK one more customized 200 Duke on the occasion of actor’s next birthday.

Also present at the occasion was Amit Nandi, Head, KTM India, who too addressed the new KTM 390 owners along with other KTM Duke owners present at the handing over ceremony.

KTM India, the Indian subsidiary of the Austrian bike maker, has already tasted enough success in our country. The bikemaker sells the 375cc and the 200cc variants from its Duke line up of bikes in India and has won plenty of rave reviews from both auto hacks and bike enthusiasts.

It would now be interesting to see if SRK’s recent association with the Austrian bike brand would further increase the popularity of Katooms in India.

  1. Is that a 390 in the first pic or a 200? It has black alloys so it must be a 200 or are they now making the 390 with black alloys?? interesting….

  2. KTM does not require a brand ambassador like SRK. And KTM should rather focus on getting the bikes delivered than getting brand ambassadors to promote this bike…
