Seat Crossover Concept teased before Geneva 2015 debut

Today, VW Group owned Spanish carmaker Seat shared a cropped photo of a mysterious concept car on its Twitter page. No further information is available, only that it will debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3.

Reports suggest it to be a new concept for the brand’s upcoming crossover model, which was spied in test-mule guise last September. It was about four years ago when Seat unveiled the IBX crossover concept, and this could be a follow up, giving a more production-ready look at the firm’s first compact crossover that will enter the market in 2016.

Seat’s CUV will ride on the VW Group’s MQB platform sharing its hardware with Skoda’s upcoming SUV, with the two models rumored to be built alongside at the same Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic. The Seat could later on spawn a hotter Cupra version with a more aggressive design and additional power.
