Maruti Suzuki, a prominent car manufacturer in India, will introduce a brand-new Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV). The company has recently unveiled the name of its highly anticipated flagship MPV, called Invicto. The MPV will be revealed on the 5th of July and its bookings will be commenced on the 19th of June.

First Maruti to get these premium features

Maruti Suzuki will brim this flagship model with plenty of new features. For starters, the new Invicto will feature a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Connected Car Technology, etc. The comfort of passengers will be enhanced by the 8-way powered memory seats and dual-zone climate control. The users can adjust these features as per their desire. The MPV will get USB type-C ports and rear sunshades as well.

Furthermore, the 10-inch infotainment system of Maruti Invicto will be paired with a 9-speaker JBL audio system. In addition, a subwoofer will be provided by the manufacturer for the clarified audio experience of the users. The Ottoman seats will accentuate the comfort level of the passengers which slide back for enhanced comfort. Moreover, Maruti Invicto will be the first model from the carmaker to offer features like Front Parking sensors, ADAS, and Electronic Parking brakes. And, the MPV will sit on 18-inch wheels.

Only Hybrid Powertrain

Unlike the Toyota Hycross, Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be powered by the 2.0L hybrid engine only. This engine is coupled to an electric motor producing 183hp and 206nm of combined output. The hybrid engine will be mated to an e-CVT transmission. In the hybrid iteration, the Invicto is expected to deliver around 15-18kmpl of fuel efficiency in real-world circumstances.

Pricing, Launch Timeline, and the Competition

Maruti Suzuki Invicto is expected to be priced lower than the Innova Hycross to cater to a broad audience. The starting price is expected to be around Rs. 20 Lakhs Ex-showroom. The Invicto will receive similar 7-seater and 8-seater configurations as the Innova Hycross.

The carmaker is all set for the debut on the Invicto on 5th July 2023 and the official bookings will be started from 19th June. When launched, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto will lock horns with Kia Carnival and Toyota Innova Hycross in the market
