Novitec Rosso, the Ferrari focused modification unit of the German based Novitec Group has unveiled an aerodynamic wide bodied Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
Termed as the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta N-Largo, Novitec Rosso has given the car a wide body treatment at the front and rear axles, which viewed from the top resembles an hourglass. Apart from an extra 4.3 inches of wide paneling, the N-Largo gets a custom set of concave five dual spoke wheels wrapped around with Pirelli P-Zero tyres. Wheel-wells and fenders have been put in place to accommodate the wider set of wheels.
With greater emphasis given on aerodynamics, the N-largo receives aggressively styled flares on the front fender housing large horizontal ducts drawing air towards cooling of the ceramic brakes. The front and the rear bumper are completely replaced by the N-Largo units with a rear spoiler for added downforce and handling.
In addition to the body work, Novitec Rosso has remapped the 6.3 litre V12 bumping the horsepower figures from 740 bhp to 781 bhp. Novitec Rosso claims that with the added grunt and better aerodynamics, the N-Largo is capable of hitting a top speed of 350 kph. Also as a small but smart inclusion, an adjustable air suspension has been put in place that can be operated by a push button. The N-Largo could be raised upto 40 millimetres for added ground clearance while going over a bumpy patch. While the car can be brought down to the regular height by the button again, the N-Largo automatically lowers itself once the needle hits the 80 kph mark.
It would have been a hard guessing if the already gorgeous Berlinetta could score any higher on the Oomph scale, but with Novitec Rosso’s treatment it does.
No pricing figure has been announced yet, but it’s rather easy to guess that it won’t come cheap.
