Leh is usually a place people visit for the views, but Royal Enfield is giving riders another reason to spend a few days there. Himalayan Basecamp 2026 will bring riders, climbers, engineers, rally experts, filmmakers, athletes, Special Forces veterans and musicians together from September 4 to 6.
What Himalayan Basecamp 2026 will offer
The three day event will feature riding activities, workshops, challenges, guided routes and music. A big part of the programme is about learning practical skills from people who have spent years in adventure and motorsport.
Some of the main sessions include:
- Adam Riemann will talk about long distance adventure riding and overlanding
- Anand Dharmaraj will conduct bush mechanics and field recovery sessions
- Jamie Robinson will speak about racing, endurance and long distance travel
- Vijay Parmar will curate the Himalayan Adventure Challenge
- Tanvi Badami will lead the climbing experience
- SK Wazid Ali will conduct a mountain biking session
- Col. Kaushal Kashyap and Col. Kaushalendra Singh will cover leadership and resilience
Ladakh routes and outdoor activities
The event will also take riders away from some of the usual tourist roads. Ladakh Uncharted has been created with Alpinestars and will use local riders to guide participants.
The planned routes include:
- Wari La
- Leh to Zanskar through Chilling and Shukpa Makha
- Likir to Tingmosgang
These rides will also give participants a chance to see remote villages and lesser explored parts of Ladakh.
Music after the rides
The programme will not stop with motorcycles and outdoor activities. Evenings will feature live performances from several independent artists.
The music line up includes Anuv Jain, Ankur Tewari and The Ghalat Family, Taba Chake, Dashugs, Rolyang Band and Luyangs Band.
