Royal Enfield is preparing to launch the new Bobber motorcycle. Recently, the manufacturer has started the testing of the Bobber. Now, the test mule of the Bobber is spotted during testing. Here are the details:
What does the spy shot reveal?
In this spy shot, the design of the upcoming motorcycle has been revealed. However, the test unit of the Bobber seems covered in camouflage. In the images, the design of the Bobber is clearly visible.
The design of the new Bobber looks retro and has a classic profile. The bike gets the floating bobber seat. Meanwhile, the Royal Enfield Bobber gets split-type seats, which adds to the practicality.
Usually, The Bobber-styled bikes get a single-seat layout. But this motorcycle will get the 2-seat layout. Apart from this, the Bobber receives the ape hanger type handlebar, white wall tyres, and spoked wheels.
The Bobber also gets other features like clear lens indicators, a round headlight, a swingarm-mounted rear fender, and a chrome taillight section.
Platform and Engine in the Royal Enfield Bobber
The new Royal Enfield Bobber will use the brand’s latest J-Platform. This platform is already used in the Meteor, Hunter, and Bullet. Meanwhile, we can expect that the production version might be named Shotgun 350.
With this platform, the Royal Enfield Bobber will use the new 350cc engine. This engine will produce 20hp of power and 27nm of torque. This engine is already used in the Classic, Meteor, and Hunter 350.
Launch Timeline, Pricing, and the Competition
The expected unveiling of the Royal Enfield Bobber motorcycle is likely to happen by the end of 2023. Meanwhile, the pricing range of the new Bobber motorcycle would start from Rs. 2 Lakhs Ex-showroom.
Also, Royal Enfield has recently announced that they will launch the new Bullet. The 2-wheeler maker is likely to reveal the new generation Bullet 350 by the 30th of August 2023 or the 1st of September 2023.
