Shikshangram, a shelter for homeless children, based in Malavali, was founded by Mr. Satish Moon and his wife Mrs. Yogita Moon in 2008. Since then they have been taking care of Homeless children. Presently the orphanage provides shelter to 110 children, and supports their education to ensure better childhood and a brighter future. Apart from focusing on quality education for the children, Shikshangram also provides a healthy and hygienic environment wherein the children entertain themselves and interact with each other through various extracurricular activities. Fund raising is a constant ongoing effort and support from all is needed to meet the daily needs of the children.
