Recently, the French car manufacturer Renault has slashed the price of the RXT(O) manual version of its Kiger sub-compact SUV. The Renault Kiger RXT(O) manual, which was previously priced at Rs 8.25 lakh, now costs Rs 7.99 lakh. This translates into a price reduction of around Rs 26,000 for the mid-spec variant.
Along with the price cut, the carmaker has also updated the features list for the RXT(O) variant. Additionally, there’s also a slew of benefits & discounts on offer over the top-spec RXZ variant. Let’s have a look at the details.
What’s New?
Renault Kiger’s RXT(O) variant now comes with full-LED headlamps & Tail-lamps, which were earlier offered exclusively on the top RXZ trim. An eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone mirroring, and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are also part of the package.
Additionally, the brand has also rolled out the ‘Human First Program’ by introducing safety features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) as standard across all variants of Kiger.
In terms of safety, the SUV comes equipped with four airbags, seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiter, impact-sensing door unlock, speed-sensing door locks, and ISOFIX.
Additional Discounts & Benefits
Apart from the slashed prices, the French automaker has also announced discounts and benefits to attract customers towards the top-spec RXZ variant of the Kiger. Buyers can now avail discounts of up to Rs. 91,000 which comprise of a cash discount of Rs. 10,000, an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000, corporate benefits of Rs. 12,000 and loyalty benefits of up to Rs. 49,000.
