Renault boasts 3rd successive year of sales growth, 3.3% increase in new vehicle registrations in 2015

2015 has proven to be a great year for Groupe Renault; with an increase of 3.3% in new vehicle registrations the group has achieved a new record. The company sold 2.8 million units of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles worldwide. Groupe Renault has announced 2015 as their third successive year of sales growth.

Thierry Koskas, Groupe Renault Executive VicePresident, Sales and Marketing said that 2015 marks another year of increased sales by Groupe Renault. The company has beaten their previous sales record.  Despite the slump in various international markets, and diverse economic conditions across the globe, Groupe Renault is capable of achieving their goals. The company not only stabilized their momentum but also strengthened it. Their achievement validates the geographic diversification strategy pursued by the company for years.

With an aim to accelerate their growth in 2016, Groupe Renault has updated their product portfolio and has expanded to India and China. The company is all geared up to improve their international position. Renault claims to be the leading European automotive brand with sales up by 20.1%. Their recently launched Kwid had a very promising start with more than 80,000 orders since its launch in September.
