Price for Indian-made Kawasaki Ninja ZX10RR hiked by INR 88,000

After becoming an instant success even before its launch, the locally assembled Kawasaki Ninja ZX10RR sees an INR 88,000/- of increase in price. After proceeding with delivers for both the base Ninja ZX10R and the top of the line Ninja ZX10RR, they managed to sell out within 15 days of their launch. Formerly brought in through the CBU route (Completely Built Unit), both these liter-class Kwackers are now locally assembled. This grants them a price cut of INR 6 lakhs, and this results in an INR 8 lakh difference between the base ZX10R and its rivals.
With a reinforced crankcase, modified cylinder heads and a quick shifter, the Kawasaki ZX10RR claims a premium over the base model. In addition to those mechanical changes, the ZX10RR gets a host of electronics like traction control, engine braking control, an auto blipper, cornering ABS and Kawasaki launch control. The Ninja ZX10RR also gets Marchesini 17 inch, 7 spoke forged aluminum wheels that come wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Supercoursa SP tires. Making a tremendous 197 bhp of power and 113.5 Nm of torque, this high revving motor is no slouch. Weighing in at just about 206 kgs, the ZX10RR sprints to a hundred within 2.2 seconds! The Kawasaki ZX10RR rivals the likes of the Suzuki GSX1000R, Ducati Panigale, Yamaha YZF-R1M and the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade. As of now, there has been no change in price, when it comes to the base Ninja ZX10R.
