The Board of Directors, at the meeting held on March 16, 2016, have appointed Pradeep Srivastava as a whole-time Director with the designation of Executive Director for a period of five years. Pradeep Srivastava will takeover his new responsibility from April 1, 2016.
After completing B. Tech Mechanical Engineer from IIT Delhi and PGDM from IIM Bangalore, Pradeep Srivastava joined Bajaj Auto in 1986 and has a career spanning over 30 years. Srivastava began his career in the assembly line and progressed over time to head manufacturing, engineering and purchasing functions. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Bajaj Auto.
Pradeep combines sound engineering skills with asture business sense. In addition to his current responsibilities, Pradeep shall oversee all company-wide operational matters on behalf of the Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj to whom he shall continue to report.
