Polaris India to participate in the upcoming Defexpo with its fleet of vehicles

Polaris India is all set to display its ultra-light vehicle range through the Defexpo India 2016. Polaris will showcase the Dagor, MRZR 4 Sportsman Big Boss 6X6 and the Ranger 6X6 800 at the Defexpo. The event, ninth in the series of biennial Land, Naval and Internal Homeland Security Systems Exhibition, will be held at Naqueri Quitol in Quepem Taluka of South Goa, India starting from today till the 31st of March, 2016.

Following is Polaris ultra-light vehicles range at the Defexpo 2016:

Dagor – The vehicle uses a readily available commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) driveline, controls and components streamlining mechanic and operator training. The diesel/JP8 COTS engine was selected for its combination of power, weight and size.

MRZR 4- The vehicle is a highly mobile off-road platform that is internally transportable and can be configured a number of ways to help expeditionary forces meet mission requirements for emerging threats, while forward deployed.

Sportsman Big Boss 6X6-Polaris Sportsman – The vehicle features a rare 6×6 drive system, powering all 6 of its wheels to help it handle the toughest jobs and terrain. This model is powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 760cc engine, placing it in the big bore displacement class (650cc class and above).

Ranger 6X6 800 – The vehicle comes fitted with a big-bore 800 twin-cylinder engine and features EFI for fast, reliable starting in any temperature, plus automatic adjustments for altitude.
