Pics of new Mercedes GL Class surface before official launch

Pics of updated Mercedes GL Class have surfaced on popular website AutoForum.cz. The new GL Class adopts comes with the styling language seen on the SLK. The car gets a bold grille, SL inspired headlamps and daytime LED running lamps. On the inside, the car gets acres of leather with wood inserts. The new GL is based on the ML Class and is more spacious than the outgoing model. Under the hood, the car will be seen sporting a 3.0L diesel, with an option of instead going for a 4.6L V8 petrol.

The assembly of GL should commence at the German automaker’s Chakan plant from next year. However, we expect the car to come to India some time before its Indian assembly begins.

  1. Still nobody will invest 11lacs on Tata cars. The image is still a Taxi segment. They should have reduced price further like 5-8lacs.

Innova is much better and brand value is there for Toyota. Xylo is again a MPV with much lesser price compared to Aria.

It would be interesting to watch what is destiny for Safari Merlin due to be launched.
