Ducati had recently launched their all-new Scrambler range in India. The new Ducati Scrambler range includes the Icon, Full Throttle, Cafe Racer and Desert Sled, and are priced at Rs 7.89 Lakhs, Rs 8.92 Lakhs, Rs 9.78 Lakhs and Rs 9.93 Lakhs (ex-Showroom, India) respectively. This renewed series is specially built for more fun, comfort and safety. The bikes in this range have a lot in common like the same engines, same transmissions and same features, but they have a few distinguished specifications too. Let’s have a look at how these Scramblers are different from each other:
Dimensions and Design
The Scrambler Icon is a classic Scrambler made specifically for style and comfort. The Icon and Full Throttle, both share the same dimensions and are 2100 mm in length, 855 mm in width and 1150 mm in height. However, the Desert Sled which is more off-road focused has a higher ride height and a tough look for difficult terrains and is 2200 mm in length, 940 mm in width and 1213 mm in height. The Cafe Racer gets lowered handlebars and a retro-racing look and is 2090 mm in length, 875 mm in width, and 1066 mm in height.

Chassis
Although the bikes in this range have many mechanical similarities, the main differences are in some components. The Icon and Full Throttle share an identical chassis and get a 41mm USD front fork and a rear monoshock. However, the Desert Sled gets a 46 mm USD front fork and a rear monoshock with a double-sided swingarm. The Cafe Racer gets the same chassis as the Icon and Full Throttle but is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 Racing tyres and a set of aluminium spoke rims which are shared with the Desert Sled too.
