Custom Painted Royal Enfield Himalayan Feature Image

Olive Green Royal Enfield Himalayan Is Most Likely A Display Only Unit

After the recent sighting of a Battle Green Classic 500 at Bengaluru dealership, it’s Royal Enfield’s home grown adventure tourer that has received a custom paint job. Okay, this isn’t an official colour option and it’s most likely done by the dealership. The entire motorcycle, including the jerrycans and the front fender is painted in olive green. It is set apart from the standard variant with the addition of optional accessories such as jerrycans, engine crash guards and saddlebags.

There are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle and the custom painted Royal Enfield Himalayan continues to use the stock 411 cc single cylinder engine tuned to deliver 24.5 bhp of power @ 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm of peak torque @ 4,250 rpm.

As you must already know, Olive Green (a.k.a Military Green) and similar colour options are only allowed on military vehicles in India and the Motor Vehicles Act does not permit the sale or registration of this specific colour. The Royal Enfield Himalayan is yet to receive a BS-IV upgrade and thus this specific model is most likely a display only unit.
