Official pictures of 2015 BMW X6 leaked days before official launch

The spy pictures of the 2015 BMW X6 have been doing the rounds on the internet for past few days. This time however, the pictures surfaced seem more like an official photograph which may have got leaked somehow.

The picture shows that the new X6 draws most of its looks from the 2014 version of the X5. This new sports crossover is expected to be showcased world over by BMW in coming few days. This new version of the X6 has gained more muscles and lost curves as compared to the outgoing model. The dashboard has come straight out of the the latest generation X5. The display model shown here features a two tone leather finish and an M Sport steering wheel.

The X6 is expected to share the same engine found in the X5 so the power will be on similar lines. The petrol is expected to come in an inline-six 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 306 PS and a V8 4.4-liter 450 PS while the diesel variant will get a six-cylinder 258 PS and a 381 PS tri-turbo 3.0-liter engine.

This new X6 is less likely to hit Indian roads. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope that BMW does add this to their India lineup.
