The wait is finally over for many Nissan buyers. Just a few days after its launch, the new Nissan Tekton has started reaching customers across the country. One of the first deliveries took place in Gujarat, where a family received their new Onyx Black Tekton at the dealership. A video of the delivery has also surfaced online, showing the family celebrating the special occasion before driving home in their new SUV.
The Tekton enters one of India’s busiest SUV segments and takes on rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor.

Design and practicality
The Tekton gets a bold SUV look with styling inspired by the Nissan Patrol. It has a wide grille, slim LED lighting, chunky bumpers, flared wheel arches and 18 inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets connected LED tail lamps and Tekton lettering across the tailgate.
The SUV measures 4,348 mm in length and offers a 2,657 mm wheelbase. It also gets 212 mm ground clearance and a 518 litre boot, making it suitable for both daily driving and long trips.
