Nissan India announced its locally-produced Nissan Micra with a price tag of 5.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) reportedly making it the most affordable premium CVT automatic hatchback in the market. The CVT model, produced at the company’s Oragadam Plant in Chennai, features the company’s X-TRONIC CVT automatic transmission that claims to offer higher fuel efficiency than a manual transmission. The Micra CVT returns a mileage of 19.34 kmpl (as per ARAI).
